Salvador Cardenal is one of the most prominent contemporary Nicaraguan composers. Born in Mexico in 1960, he is a singer-songwriter, poet, painter and ecologist with more than thirty years of artistic life. The artist, self-proclaimed as the guardian of the beautiful, has granted me this interview from the comfort of his home.
