On November 19th we headed down to check out Ave Maria University and their first Skatefest in San Marcos. The event started at 9:00pm with a skate contest. The audience was cheering their favorites, screaming their names. After about an hour and a half, everyone made their way to the center of the field to listen to the guys from Bluefields Sound System and started grooving to the rhythm of their energetic songs. There was plenty of drinks and food at good prices to help make the event a total success.
