Saturday January 30th is shaping up to be one of the busiest days in recent memory, there are festivals in San Juan del Sur and Granada, concerts all over Managua, as well as two fashion show benefits in Managua, not to mention all the stuff I don’t even know about (pool party at Las Palmeras maybe?)…BUT, no matter what you end up doing on Saturday, make sure to keep an eye on Chocolatito’s fourth title defense against Mexico’s Ivan Meneses.
In December, Gonzalez publically called out Puerto Rican, Ivan Calderon, after saying he felt disrespected by the current WBO Light Flyweight Champion who visited Nicaragua last month. It will be interesting to see if Chocolatito takes out some of that perceived disrespect on Meneses.
