Santos “El Toro” Benavides is a straight up brawler with some bad-ass chest hair. The Chontales native may not be the most technically skilled boxer, he may not be the most charismatic, but he is really, really good at hitting other people really, really hard.
I enjoy drinking a cold Toña and watching him punch people in the face. On Friday, I get that chance again. El Toro (16-2-2, 13 KO’s) will be headlining a night of boxing at the Pharoah’s Event Center in Managua. His matchup is against another talented boxer, Wilfredo Acuña (13-5, 10 KO’s).
I’m not sure what’s up with this flyer where it looks as if the fight will take place in heaven, I think a background that showed hell would be much more appropriate because after a controversial draw in his last fight, El Toro is out for blood.
There are 7 fights scheduled for the night. The event starts at 7pm. Ringside seats C$200. Don’t miss the mayham!
